NEW HIIT PROGRAMMING LAUNCHES THIS SUMMER
At The Yard Gym training, we prioritise four fundamental principles of programming and training; progression, overload, specificity, and individualization.
Our system is designed to offer clients a variety of options, whilst still ensuring the appropriate amount of physical stress is applied to each particular exercise. It's very much a results based system, with a huge emphasis on customer enjoyment.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE RESULTS
Congratulations to all participants in our Spring Transformation Challenge! Over the 12-week program, our members achieved remarkable results through consistent training and nutrition guidance.
Our approach focused not just on aesthetic changes, but on measurable performance improvements across strength benchmarks, work capacity, and recovery metrics. This holistic system delivered an average 12% increase in overall strength and significant improvements in body composition for participants who completed the full program.
Special recognition goes to Sarah M. and James T., who both exceeded their initial goals and demonstrated exceptional commitment to the process. Their journeys highlight how our boutique approach to strength and conditioning creates sustainable results through individualized programming.

SUMMER MOBILITY WORKSHOPS: IMPROVE PERFORMANCE AND PREVENT INJURY
Starting July 15th, we're introducing our specialized Summer Mobility Workshop series focused on enhancing movement quality and preventing common training injuries.
These 60-minute sessions will run every Sunday morning and address specific areas including shoulder mobility, hip function, thoracic spine mobility, and ankle/foot mechanics. Each workshop combines assessment techniques, targeted mobility drills, and practical implementation strategies that integrate directly with your strength training program.
Our approach remains consistent with our core training principles, ensuring that mobility work is specific to your individual needs and progressively challenging. These workshops are designed to complement our strength and conditioning focus, addressing the often-overlooked foundation of quality movement.
Limited to 10 participants per session to maintain quality coaching. Members can register for individual workshops or the complete 8-week series at a discounted rate. See the front desk for details or book through our member portal.
